Welcome to episode 15 of the Cutting Room Chronicles! That’s five times more episodes than the number of listeners we probably have at this point! As always (I say as if I remember to put this warning with all the episodes), this is a not safe for work podcast. Rated R. Vulgarities. Weiner jokes. The whole nine.
This week on the show we hit a hat trick of hat tricks, reviewing three movies for our third episode in a row. This time around we talk about Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, which is EXACTLY what it sounds like; The Choice, the latest output based on the novels from critically-acclaimed (is that the right term?) author Nicholas Sparks; and Hail, Caesar!, the newest film from the Coen Brothers, famous for films such as The Big Lebowski and No Country For Old Men. We really like one, think another was okay, and love-hated the final one. Want to know which is which? You’ll have to listen to find out! Though you can probably guess. It’s not hard.
Next week is the first week we’ve been genuinely excited for in quite a long time – probably for the first time in 2016. We’ll be discussing Zoolander 2 (and probably the weird trend of movies from one or two decades ago getting sequels in 2016), How to Be Single, and Deadpool. The last of those is probably one of the most anticipated releases of 2016, so it should make for a good show!
As always, listen to this week’s episode below, and get at us on any of the social media links at the bottom with any requests, comments, concerns, inquiries, rants, proposals, queries, etc, etc.
