Welcome to Episode 13 of The Cutting Room Chronicles. The fact that it took me more than 30 seconds to remember what we saw and discussed on this episode should speak to the overall quality and lasting impact of the stuff we saw (though we did enjoy one of the three).

On this episode, we discuss the Robert De Niro/Zac Efron comedy joint Dirty Grandpa, which currently sits at a solid 7% on Rotten Tomatoes (we vehemently disagree with this); the Hunger Games/Maze Runner-style sci-fi thriller The 5th Wave, based off a book of the same name; and the PG-13 horror (because as I say every time, there’s a difference worth noting) movie The Boy starring Maggie from The Walking Dead. Because apparently January 2016 is the month where studios decided “let’s take that attractive actress from a super popular show and use her to boost up appeal of our shitty horror movie. It’s cool.

Next week we’ll be discussing Kung Fu Panda 3 and what is sure to be the first 10/10 film of 2016, Fifty Shades of Black. The world has been clamoring for the genius behind White Chicks, Dance Flick, and A Haunted House to give us his take on Fifty Shades of Grey. As always, listen to this week’s episode below, and get at us on any of the social media links at the bottom with any requests, comments, concerns, inquiries, rants, proposals, queries, etc, etc.
